With over 30 years of experience in financial planning and investment strategy, Jon brings a deep understanding of what it takes to help individuals and families navigate the complexities of retirement. As founder of Flynn Financial, LLC—an independent, registered investment advisory firm he launched in 2011—Jon has dedicated his career to helping clients in northeastern Pennsylvania and beyond build and sustain retirement income they can rely on.
Specializing in both retirement income distribution planning and investment portfolio management, Jon focuses on turning savings into predictable, tax-efficient income streams tailored to each client’s lifestyle and goals. His advice is rooted in long-term planning, risk management, and a clear understanding of both market behavior and personal needs.
A graduate in Finance with a concentration in Financial Planning, Jon has held the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation since 1999. He holds current licenses including CFP®, Series 65, and Pennsylvania Life & Health Insurance, and previously held Series 7, 63, 9, and 10 registrations.

Bringing together years of experience in client service, administrative support, and team coordination, Shannon plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of a busy financial advisory office. Known for her professionalism, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills, she supports both the advisor and clients with dedication and precision.
Shannon has spent her career helping individuals navigate complex systems with care and clarity. From coordinating services and managing documentation to fostering clear communication between teams, she thrives in environments that require multitasking, discretion, and a human touch.
With a deep commitment to client satisfaction and operational excellence, Shannon is a trusted point of contact and a steady presence for those she serves.
She lives in Peckville, Pennsylvania, and holds a bachelor’s degree from Marywood University.
